This set also increases the range of metallics and has a really nice bright Yellow-Green along with a flesh shade and highlight. This is the perfect expansion to the base set – featuring 16 new bottles including several darker hues that work as bases or shades for the initial set. So, from the first day I used the few paints I had – I loved them so much that I went and bought the follow-up set. Honestly, there’s little more that the basic Miniature Painter would need, as you can mix-up a solid variety of colours from this initial set of 29 paints.īut then thanks to a perfect storm of events which occurred – I found out that since a year ago when I initially purchased these, Monument Hobbies has released even more pro acryl paints.
